Navratri Sabudana Khichdi
The quintessential Navratri dish — pearl sago cooked with peanuts and green chillies. No onion, no garlic.

🛒 Ingredients
·1 cup sabudana (tapioca pearls) soaked 4 hrs
·½ cup roasted peanuts coarsely crushed
·2 green chillies chopped
·1 tsp cumin seeds
·8 curry leaves
·1 tbsp ghee
·Salt and sugar to taste
·Lemon juice and coriander
👨🍳 Method

Soak sabudana for at least 4 hours. Drain completely.

Heat ghee in a wide pan. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves.

Add green chillies. Sauté 30 seconds.

Add drained sabudana. Stir gently on medium flame.

Cook uncovered 5-7 mins, stirring occasionally until translucent.

Add crushed peanuts, salt, a pinch of sugar. Mix well.

Squeeze lemon, garnish coriander. Serve with yogurt.
